In November of 2007, a team of dedicated volleyball players, coaches and volunteers met to discuss ways to better improve competitive volleyball in the Myrtle Beach area. Our goal was to start a junior club volleyball team for girls of the Grand Strand. After an overwhelming turnout for the team tryouts, Grand Strand Juniors was born as a not for profit volleyball program. The first year featured 3 travel teams with a total of about 30 girls. 2026 will be the start of our 19th season of competition. We have grown to 31 travel teams, 4 youth development teams, and over 500 young women now participating in our programs. We have changed the face of volleyball in our area and impacted the youth in a positive way.
