Levels of Beach Training
- Elite - Our Elite Coast United Beach program is for those top athletes (grades 8-12) who are committed to play at the highest level and have the athleticism, skill, and talent to do so. Those talented players will form our top competitive pairs. Athletes will train to play in Local, Regional, and National Beach Tournaments. Practices will focus on skill refinement, game offensive and defensive strategies, partner planning, and game management. Athletes in this level have 2+ years of beach experience and/or 2+ years of indoor volleyball experience at the High School and Club levels.
- New to Beach – Our New to Beach program is for athletes (grades 8-12) who are new to the beach game. Athletes will train to play in Local, and possibly Regional, Beach Tournaments. Practices will focus on learning beach skills, introductory game strategies and game pacing/management. Athletes may have 1-2 years of beach experience and/or 1 years of indoor volleyball experience at the High School and Club levels.
- Beach Academy - This program is for new to volleyball players (grades 7th and younger). Those wanting to complement playing in the D-League or a recreation league and are not ready to commit to playing club travel volleyball or are in their first year of club travel ball. The Beach Academy will train players locally and allow them more time to develop basic volleyball skills and also partner play.

Skill Training
When playing beach you never leave the court. With only two players each one has to utilize every volleyball skill from setting, hitting, passing, and defense. Players can quickly close the gap on more experienced and talented players by getting the extra touches that beach provides.

Club vs Club Competition
As the program advances Our program will attend tournaments using a club vs club format that resembles the college game. Players will be put on teams and compete as squads. This format helps players work for the overall success of the team. You can certainly play in traditional doubles tournaments anytime you want.
