College Recruitment at GSJ

GSJ partners with the college recruiting program, SportsRecruits, to help our athletes be seen by college coaches and recruiters nationwide.

SportsRecruits doubled with the help of our in-house Recruitment Coordinator, Coach Emma Ann Lay, allows the athletes to have total control over their own recruitment process. Athletes are able to use both resources to their advantage.

What is SportsRecruits?

SportsRecruits is a third-party program that GSJ partners with to help enhance your athlete's recruitment experience by giving real-time data and insights into their recruitment abilities.

SportsRecruits allows athletes to communicate with coaches, show off their highlights, show off their stats, show off their academic and athletic achievements, and more all in one platform.

This user-friendly platform is included in your athlete's tuition at GSJ for those on the Boys and Girls GSJ National 14-18 and Coast United 14-18 teams saving you and your family hundreds of dollars.

Meet our Recruitment Coordinator, Coach Emma Ann Lay!

Coach Lay works as Communications Director and Recruitment Coordinator while coaching the Coast United 16's team at GSJ as well as the current head of the Myrtle Beach High School Girls Volleyball Program.

Coach Lay has extensive experience with the game of volleyball as a former GSJ athlete and graduate of the Winthrop University Volleyball Program in 2024. While not in season during college, she also spent time as a club official as well as personally assisting the Palmetto Region Commissioner of South Carolina's USAV Region.

Coach Lay uses her knowledge and contacts with numerous college coaches from her time as a college athlete, club official, and experiences with USAV to help GSJ athletes seeking recruitment.
