GSJ West Team Information

  • Tournament Schedule

    GSJ West  teams play in 10-11 tournaments depending on whether you are on a regional or power team. The regional season ending in late March, and the power season in late April. The 2026 tournament schedule can be found by clicking the button below.

  • Payment

    Payments for West teams can range from $750-$1000 depending on Regional or Power status. Fees include uniform (jersey, spandex, club t-shirt)-- Jersey will be returned after the completed season. Additional items can be purchased at a reduced cost--practice fees, coaching fees, team insurance, equipment, and tournament entries. Fees do not include travel to events.


    You can access your payment through the byga app and once you've received your registration email after tryouts.

  • Practice Schedules

    West Regional teams practice two days a week with additional skill/position/agility training. While Power teams practice three days a week with the additional training. An 80% or better practice attendance is expected. Tournament attendance is expected unless a three-week notice is given or unforseen circumstance occurs. Any conflicts should be disclosed prior to the season start. A limited number of special practice arrangements can be made (practice with another team/different time) as long as player maintains her level of commitment to volleyball. These will be determined on a case-by-case basis with the coach.

  • What to expect on a West team

    West teams are required to help set up for our Chucktown Showdown Volleyball tournament and are encouraged to do one public service event.
